Last week, a grizzly bear was caught on camera devouring ducklings in front of screaming children at a Seattle zoo.

The two-year-old bear, named Juniper, devoured the ducks while several children cried and banged on the glass to distract her at the Woodland Park Zoo.

The video begins with Juniper patiently watching the mother duck and her five ducklings by the pond.

Then he dove into his bear pond, went straight to the ducks, grabbing and biting the furry ducklings one after another.

Rachelle, a TikTok user who shared the video last week, mentioned that it happened during her daughter’s birthday party on April 23.

Although the children can be heard screaming in the video, they did not appear to be experiencing stress.

Rachelle, a TikTok user who shared the video last week, mentioned that it happened during her daughter’s birthday party on April 23.

Juniper is an orphaned coastal brown bear found wandering alone near an air force base in Anchorage, Alaska, according to the zoo’s website.

His mother, who may have been hit by a vehicle, killed by another grizzly bear, or illegally killed, was nowhere to be found.

Juniper, weighing 89 pounds at the time, was too young to survive on her own, so she was transported via Alaska Air Cargo and arrived at the zoo in July 2022.

Two years later, Juniper grew into a large brown bear and appeared to be in good health as he reached for the ducklings with his long claws in the video.

She can be seen biting the ducks’ heads and slurping on them before finally chasing after the mother duck.

She paid no attention to the passersby behind the glass, who were hitting her and yelling at her in an attempt to distract her.

Although the children can be heard screaming in the video, they did not appear to be experiencing stress or horror.

‘That’s not nice!’ one girl shouted while another said, ‘That’s a good strategy.’

Rachelle assured her followers as she wrote in the caption: ‘We see wildlife doing their thing everywhere we live. Our children are not “traumatized.”

It’s unclear if Juniper had been fed before devouring the five ducklings, but zookeepers said she is known to have a goofy personality.

The two-year-old bear is boisterous and is often seen with a stick or root ball in her mouth. FOX5 reported.

The video received thousands of comments from social media users, many of whom seemed amused by Juniper’s actions.

“The bear was sweet, Uber eats is here with my nuggets,” one user wrote, while another pointed out “the way” the TikTok video “kept getting worse.”
