Shocking moment gang use flatbed truck to slam into car and attack occupants with bats in ambush

Massive mob attacks a car by rambling into a truck, surrounding it and using baseball bats to smash through windows and attack occupants in terrifying video from Birmingham

  • Footage shows about 15 men with weapons repeatedly hitting a white vehicle
  • Criminals then appear to pull a man out of the car and beat him with a baseball bat
  • Two men, aged 23 and 24, were taken to hospital after the brutal attack
  • The victims are believed to have suffered no life-altering injuries

This is the shocking moment when two men were dragged from their car and beaten by a huge gang of baseball-wielding thugs.

Disturbing images have surfaced showing a low loader lorry hitting a white vehicle from behind at midnight Monday on Alum Rock Road, near the junction of Thornton Road, Birmingham.

Several men jump out of the cab of the truck and run to the car.

A dark-colored car then suddenly stops in front of the white car and about 15 men start repeatedly hitting the vehicle with weapons and smashing the windows.

The crooks are then filmed opening the driver’s side doors and hitting someone on the ground with their batons who is out of sight.

A man is then pulled from the passenger side and repeatedly pinned to the ground while the attackers watch.

But as the men retreat and disperse, a villain remains and beats the victim while suffering pain by the side of the road.

CCTV images are then over.

An ambulance and paramedic arrived on scene and assessed and treated two injured people. “The two men were taken to hospital for further check-ups.”

This follows another serious attack in the same area where a gang attacked a driver and destroyed businesses during a crime wave around Alum Rock.

On Saturday, thugs traveling in Saltley attacked a driver with guns around 5 p.m.

The victim, aged 31, was rammed into by the gang before fleeing on foot to a gas station. His attackers followed him inside and damaged the front door before fleeing.

The group also broke into a business on Alum Rock Road and started causing damage and throwing objects from the roof.

Armed officers were dispatched to the scene and discovered their getaway car had been stolen and had cloned license plates. A machete was also recovered.

West Midlands Police have emphasized that this incident is unrelated to the ensuing attack on Monday night.
