The New York Police Department has released bodycam and surveillance footage of a gang member shooting another man before being killed by two officers.

Newly released video shows the fatal meeting in January around 3:30 am when two men had a verbal altercation after leaving a water pipe lounge in East Village.

Earl Facey (37) and Richard Reed (41) were both in the club with friends when the two groups disagreed and prompted a bouncer to kick them out.

Once outside, Facey can reveal a gun and open fire on Reed. A few seconds later Reed reacts by pulling out his own weapon and shooting at Facey.

The officers got out of their vehicle and ordered Facey to land.

Facey refused the orders of the officers and walked away from the men with his gun still pulled.

He continued to ignore the officers and tried to cross a roadway when he raised his left arm.

That led the officers to shoot Facey three times and kill him deadly.

The police found two .22 caliber pistols after two men entered a dangerous fight in the East Village on January 9

Both Facey and Reed were transported to Bellevue Hospital, but were later declared dead.

Neither Murphy nor Mclaughlin were injured, but they were also taken to the hospital for treatment in the ears.

Authorities have removed two .22 caliber pistols from the scene. One was under Facey’s hull and another with Reed.

It is believed that the men did not know each other before the incident, but both were involved in previous shootings.
