This is the terrifying moment an electric car bursts into flames, leaving it in unsalvageable ruins.
The car was destroyed by fire in the Leytonstone area of east London during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
From the video and images available of the incident, it appears that the vehicle in question was a Skoda EV.
Authorities still do not know the cause of the fire.
In the aftermath of the fire, it was also discovered that two adjacent properties and a nearby car were damaged due to the intensity of the heat from the flames.
Spectators watch as the flames completely engulf the electric car.
The incident occurred on Cavendish Drive in the Leytonstone area of London.

The road, believed to be Cavendish Drive, was closed for several hours after the fire while emergency services tackled the fire and subsequent clean-up.
Local authorities are urging any witnesses or people with information about the fire to contact police.
Commenting on the fire, London Fire Brigade said; ‘Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters extinguished a car fire on Cavendish Drive in Leytonstone.
‘An electric car was destroyed by fire. Another car and two nearby properties were partially damaged by the heat of the fire.
“There are currently no reports of injuries.”
