Surveillance video shows the disturbing moment a drunk and unruly passenger attacked an airline worker on Sunday.
Luana Otoni got into an argument with an operations manager at Azul Brazil Airlines after she was told she could not board the flight at Belo Horizonte International Airport.
The 39-year-old lawyer showed the gate agent her boarding pass and fell to the ground as she approached the plane, according to a police report.
One of the workers who helped Otoni filed a report indicating that she showed signs of being drunk and was then told by the airline manager to get off the plane.
It was explained to Otoni that she was being taken off the plane due to civil aviation guidelines and was told she would have to take a different flight.

Luana Otoni remained under arrest Monday, a day after she assaulted an operations manager at Azul Brazilian Airlines because she was not allowed to stay on a flight for being rude to staff.
He became upset when the manager took his belongings off the plane and verbally attacked him, telling him he was “a monkey, a bum, an idiot and a piece of shit.”
At one point, Otoni mocked the victim’s job, telling him: ‘You’re happy to have a preppy girl off the plane.’
Video footage showed her repeatedly slapping, punching and kicking the worker while an employee failed to restrain her.
Otoni was questioned by police at the scene and said she followed the employee’s instructions and tripped while entering the plane.

“Azul emphasizes its strong condemnation of any form of offense or aggression towards its Customers and Crew, and appropriate measures will be taken,” the airline said in a statement to DailyMail.com.
The Otoni incident was the second violent incident involving a passenger in South America in less than a week.
Last Thursday, two Colombian brothers were removed from a flight due to their unruly behavior and then placed under arrest after they assaulted two police officers.
One of the men was filmed berating a police officer and then slapping him on board an Avianca flight.
His brother tried to stop the officers from taking him off the plane by chasing the police officer who was attacked.
