This is the shocking moment a dog attacked a police horse before a mounted officer was thrown from his saddle.
An aggressive dog was out of control in Maroon Street, Limehouse, east London on Friday.
Footage captured by witnesses and posted on social media shows the demon chasing and attacking a police horse.
The dog was so aggressive that it startled the horse which led to the female constable riding it being thrown from its saddle.
Fortunately, the officer’s injuries were classified as “minor” by the police.

The dog was so aggressive that it startled the horse, leading to the female constable riding him being thrown from his saddle.
According to The Sun, the owner, believed to be 12, tried to chase after the tan Staffy mix as he attacked the horse.
After the dog was trampled by the horse, officers were able to tame and seize the dog.
The frightened horse which had leg injuries attempted to flee before officers could recover the animal.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘At approximately 4.50pm on Friday August 18, two mounted police officers were carrying out routine duties in Maroon Street, E14, when one of the police horses was bitten by a dog who ran away from a nearby house.
“The rider of the horse, a police officer, was knocked off his horse and suffered minor injuries. She did not need hospital treatment.
After the dog was trampled by the horse, officers were able to tame and seize the dog

“The police horse was injured in the leg. He fled the scene but was picked up by officers a short distance away without further incident.
“The dog was slightly injured after being trampled by the horse.
“Both animals were assessed by a police vet and neither was seriously injured. The dog stays at the police kennel.
“A ‘dangerously out of control dog’ offense has been recorded. There have been no arrests at this stage.
