A shocking video shows the moment a high school teacher was thrown to the ground while trying to stop a fight between two students.
The horrific incident took place at Hurshel Antwine High School in east El Paso, Texas, on Monday, May 20.

After the teacher was thrown to the ground, the boy proceeded to lunge towards his opponent once more.

The pair continued to fight, crashing into desks and causing their colleagues to jump out of the way in fright.
Finally, two other staff members appeared at the door and asked, “What are you doing?” while they help the teacher, who was still on the floor in the corner of the room.
Video of the crazy fight has since gone viral online and the school’s principal issued a statement to concerned parents in light of the baffling incident at the high school.

‘Hello, I am Patricia Fernández, principal of Hurshel Antwine Middle School. I am calling to inform you that an altercation occurred today between students in a classroom on our campus,’ the statement began.
‘This was an isolated incident between individual students. The students involved are being approached by administration and authorities as appropriate.
‘There was no threat to other students or the campus. Thank you for your continued trust and support of Hurshel Antwine Middle School and the SISD team.’
