The footage, filmed on April 29 outside a local Walgreen's, begins with an officer walking directly toward the 20-year-old suspect, still clutching a cash register.

Footage shows the moment a not-so-dynamic duo was caught stealing a cash register from a Seattle pharmacy, seconds after walking through its doors.

The unnamed male and female suspects were immediately arrested, police said Wednesday, releasing an almost unbelievable clip in the process.

The video shows a Seattle Police Department team approaching the Walgreens that the couple had just looted, before coming face to face with the 20-year-old woman, cash register in tow.

‘Wow! Wow! Hey!’ one of the officers says, as the woman stops dead in her tracks. Meanwhile, her 40-year-old accomplice remains motionless, equally dumbfounded.

“Leave that,” the officer orders, recording with his body-worn camera.

The unnamed woman does the same, but her masked accomplice apparently had other ideas.

He fled the scene to a nearby parking lot, police said in their statement, while another segment of the video shows his arrest.

It begins with the bumbling suspect literally hiding in plain sight of a police officer; He also records the action with his body camera.

“He’s hiding,” the agent is heard saying to his colleagues over the radio after calmly walking away from the visible hiding place of the alleged criminal, as if he had not seen him.

Finally, the suspect exits, raising his hands slightly in a messy surrender.

‘Show me your hands,’ the officers order, to which the man barely obeys, as he walks forward.

‘It’s not me! “Sir, it’s not me,” the masked man shouts at that moment, still walking upright.

‘Get down, now!’ – the officer continues to ask, prompting the suspect to try to escape on foot.

The woman was ultimately booked into the King County Jail for robbery and illegal carrying of a gun, cops said, while the man was charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer.

For now, Seattle police said detectives from the General Investigations Unit will lead the investigation, as the city continues to grapple with rampant crime.

This comes years after politicians and citizens came together to demand that local government defund the police, amid unrest fueled by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

In their statement, police revealed that the incident actually occurred on April 29 and is under active investigation.
