This is the shocking moment a 63-year-old Florida man is brutally attacked in a movie theater after asking a couple to vacate their previously reserved VIP seat.
The horrifying footage showed the suspect pounced on the victim before being struck repeatedly during the vicious attack in Pompano Beach.
The video shows the elderly white man and his wife approaching the attacker, politely asking them to move, then being violently assaulted as he tries to escape.
Cops said they launched a search for the perpetrator, who is black, and released a security video image of him after the event on July 10 at 10 p.m.
The horrifying footage showed the suspect pounced on the victim before being struck repeatedly during the vicious attack in Pompano Beach.
according to a release from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the unknown male began “aggressively getting into the victim’s face.”
The assailant got so close to the victim that he had to take a step back and ended up standing on the stairs of the movie theater, while a trailer for the new installment of Mission Impossible was projected on the screen.
Video footage from the incident shows the attacker moving towards the victim and eventually pushing him against a railing.
The victim, at one point, loses his balance and falls down the hallway stairs.

The grainy footage shows the man who was attacked falling down the stairs in the theater hallway during a particularly heated part of the exchange.

The cameras also captured an image of the attacker’s partner.
The attacker, who appears to be black, stands over the man and continues to punch his head and face, stopping only when witnesses pushed him away.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with multiple head and facial injuries, according to the statement.
The perpetrator and his apparent date left the theater and, according to footage, quickly left the complex.
Although the shooter’s face is clearly shown on camera, authorities have yet to apprehend a suspect and are asking members of the public with information on the man’s identity to contact the sheriff’s office at 954-601-5905.
