Shocking footage shows police officers fighting a man with a machete on a blood-soaked street in south London.

This is the shocking moment police officers were seen tackling a man to the ground with a ‘machete’ in south London on a blood-soaked pavement.

A video posted on X shows a man tied to the ground and handcuffed by police officers.

The incident occurred on a south London street as frightened families watched nearby.

An officer then orders a man with an open dog in his palm to put his “hand in the air” and “put on a bandage.”

Red drops of what appears to be blood can be seen scattered across the pavement.

A small crowd watches as one of the officers holding the man on the ground speaks into the radio and mentions a “large machete” and “a wounded officer.”

The camera then pans to show a man standing holding his hand who appears to have a large bleeding cut on one of his fingers.
