The man had returned to his Mitsubishi Pajero in a parking lot and found a handwritten note under the windshield.

A driver was left baffled to discover a foul-mouthed note on the windscreen of his car.

The man had returned to his Mitsubishi Pajero in a car park in Australia and came across the handwritten message left on his vehicle by a driver upset with his parking.

‘You’re an idiot, park closer next time, you bastard!!’ the aggressive note said.

The driver of the Mitsubishi took Facebook Tuesday to share a photo of the parking lot that prompted the note to be left.

The man had returned to his Mitsubishi Pajero in a parking lot and found a handwritten note under the windshield.

I’m the car on the right, the white Mitsubishi. This was left to me,” she wrote.

The photo showed the Mitsubishi parked next to a Hyundai, which had been parked across the line and in place of the Mitsubishi.

Social media users gave their opinion and some agreed that the author of the note went too far.

‘How dare you be inside the lines!’ one joked.

“Did you know that it’s not illegal to let the air in your tires flow freely as long as you don’t damage the tire?” wrote a second.

Another believed a slightly more forceful response was needed: “You had keys, right?”

Others suggested that the note was not left by the driver of the Hyundai and could have been from the driver of the car on the other side of the Mitsubishi.

A Facebook commenter asked the driver of the Mitsubishi 'you had keys, right?'

A Facebook commenter asked the driver of the Mitsubishi ‘you had keys, right?’

—What’s wrong with the car on the other side? one commenter posted.

Another asked: ‘Can we see the photo from the other side where the black car is? You seem very close to that car and probably who he left the note to.

One response to the post suggested the driver was taking the note the wrong way: “That note was a challenge so park closer.”

Among the mix of positive and negative comments on the Facebook post, the voice of reason was also present in some responses.

‘It’s hard, because what if the other person had to park like shit because someone next to them already left?’ one wrote.

“You don’t always know who started it.”

‘This is unpopular nowadays, but be an adult and ignore it. Or at most, put the note in his car and drive away. “Don’t fall for their level of stupidity,” added another.
