The new trailer for Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife features Joe, 33, from the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales.

In the preview, handsome and rugged Joe describes himself as an Australian “bushman” and “not a cowboy” and reveals he’s ready for a serious romance.

“I would love nothing more than to ride off into the sunset with someone,” he says in the teaser.

Elsewhere, Joe reveals that his life in Bombala, around 494km from Sydney, was a major stumbling block in finding true love.

“I always had a hard time meeting people who wanted to live the same way I did,” he says.

Joe seems to be a great catch for the lucky participants this season.

The equestrian ‘bushie’ is filmed in a number of intimate situations with a series of his attractive female co-stars.

This season also features Farmer Dustin, 26, from western New South Wales.

The third-generation farmer reveals he’s looking for love on the dating series after experiencing the dark ‘dating scene’ of the outback.

“We’re pretty isolated here,” Dustin says of his small hometown of Codobolin.

He says finding a girlfriend is like trying to find “a needle in a haystack” because most women can’t stand isolation.

Condobolin is located 457 km from Sydney and has a population of just over 3,000.

During a trailer for the new season, host Sam Armytage asks Dustin about the “dating scene” in the small town.

“Lamentable,” replies the handsome farmer.

Elsewhere in the trailer, Dustin is seen romancing one of the attractive contestants.

But the remote location of his farm means that winning Dustin’s heart will be a big challenge.

Other stars looking for love this season include Queensland’s Farmer Bert, 30, from Wamuran, and Farmer Dean, 25, from Kandanga.

There is also farmer Tom, 22, from Tabilk in Victoria.

Hosted by Samantha Armytage and Natalie Gruzlewski, Farmer Wants a Wife is due to be released on Seven and 7plus after Easter.
