Shock theory on why Denise Drysdale really left. I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here!

A theory has emerged as to why Denise Drysdale was quickly eliminated from I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia last week after a few days in the jungle.

A source claimed producers were relieved to see Denise, 75, booted from the show amid claims there was tension on set with presenter Julia Morris.

‘They (the production) were in suspense with those two great personalities. “There is a lot of pressure in the current new season to not generate negative headlines like the past series,” said a source. Women’s Day.

“It was a clash of personalities from day one and the team felt really uncomfortable each week as they tried to outdo each other.”

They added that Denise tried to take on the role of mentor to Julia, who was not receptive.

‘Denise reportedly felt she could be an older sister figure to Julia. However, Julia was determined to run her own race,” the source claimed.

Denise has since refuted claims that she was involved in a feud with Julia, calling it “total nonsense.”

Fans were shocked on Wednesday night when the contestants faced elimination with Denise, Candice Warner and Ellie Cole making the final three.

With “over half a million votes” cast to save her favorite stars, Denise was sent home – but it seemed the TV presenter was eager to leave.

The Studio 10 star bid a bittersweet farewell to her fellow celebrities before telling hosts Julia and Robert Irwin that she was glad to be out of the jungle for good.

‘They (the production) were in suspense with those two great personalities. “There is a lot of pressure on the current new season to not generate negative headlines like past series,” a source told Woman’s Day.

“Oh, it was more than I expected,” she admitted, adding that there was nothing “bitter” about her departure despite having entered the camp as an intruder last week.

‘Can I say it’s not so bitter?! It is sweet! I’m sorry, I have to be… I have to be completely honest!’

She continued: ‘There’s shit in there! It’s shit, it’s amazing! The dunnies, the land! Now I am a clean person: there is dirt on dirt on dirt on dirt.’

Despite her bad experience in the South African jungle, Denise said she was “glad” to have taken part in the program and “proud” of what she achieved in it.
