A mother punched a stranger after her family helped free his stuck vehicle, before he abandoned them when his own car got stuck.
Emmy was camping with her three children and husband Cam at Gladstone Bay Campground, 750 kilometers north of Perth, on Saturday.
A stranger, Adam, came to them for help, explaining that he had walked miles for help after his vehicle got stuck in the mudflats.
“We didn’t know him beforehand, we took him back to his car, we saw him completely stuck in the mudflats and (my husband) Cam’s first thought was, ‘I can’t leave someone stranded alone,'” she said.
‘Cam and my 14 year old son spent hours helping you after you were clearly being an idiot in the marshes!’
Emmy and Cam’s own car got stuck in the process of freeing it, and Adam promised to drive back to camp and call for help.
Emmy claims that Adam left without telling anyone, leaving Cam and their son stranded.
It took three days for others at the camp to successfully get Cam’s vehicle out of the mud and now his wife is criticizing Adam for causing the whole mess.

A stranger, called Adam, came to them for help, explaining that he had walked miles looking for help after his vehicle got stuck in the mudflats.
Emmy lashed out at Adam for abandoning her family.
‘I hope you see this. How did you sleep last night? she wrote.
‘You left camp like (the) absolute idiot you are. I didn’t even stay the night to help with the truck today.
‘Piece of shit.’
What puzzled Emmy the most was that Adam paid for two nights at the camp before getting stuck, but decided to leave immediately after being freed.
“We helped for hours to get you out, using our winches,” he wrote on social media.
‘We’ll get you out. You were supposed to go back to Gladstone Bay camp and find someone else to help free us, but YOU LEFT, AFTER PAYING 2 NIGHTS TO STAY!
‘YOU LEFT CAM AND (my son) stranded!’
His vehicle was rescued by a ‘mini army’ from the campsite and now the family he is warning others to watch out for Adam.
“We would love to see him again because he forgot to say thank you, so if you know him, pass it on,” the mother wrote.
Adam promised to get help for the family after their own car got stuck while they were helping to rescue his, but instead he just drove off and the family was stranded for three days.
The family had been camping near the Gladstone salt flats, Western Australia.
Adam was criticized as “un-Australian” by countless campers who read about his selfish act.
“I hope you find him and take his radiator as a farewell gesture,” wrote one.
“I would consider contacting the police as this is really unusual,” a second added.
“What a scourge,” said a third.
“What a selfish, rude, disrespectful and cruel person,” wrote another.
‘He left a family stranded. “What a hero!” added one more.
