Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was spotted out and about for the first time following news that a court hearing to legally remove “Pitt” from her last name had been delayed.
The 18-year-old daughter of former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out solo in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
Shiloh, whose older brother Pax, 20, was involved in an electric bike accident earlier this week, was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and vibrant yellow sneakers.
Her bobbed blonde hair was pulled back, away from her makeup-free face, with a brown spring headband.
The teenager was carrying another jacket over her arm and her iPhone in her hand as she left a friend’s house in the afternoon.

Earlier this week, Shiloh’s attorney confirmed that a court hearing in her effort to change her legal last name had been delayed due to a clerical error.
The latest development comes about two months after Shiloh expressed her intention to remove Pitt from her name after she turns 18 on May 27.
Peter Levine, who is acting as Jolie-Pitt’s legal representative in the matter, said People In a statement Monday, “Unfortunately, the court was unable to complete the background check before today’s hearing, so the hearing has been rescheduled for August 19.”
Levine explained the logistics of the process and why Monday’s hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court had been postponed.
“Everyone who files for a name change must have a background check conducted by the court clerk, and due to a clerical error, Shiloh’s hearing has been postponed to a new date,” Levine told the outlet.
Jolie and Pitt, who split in 2016 and have been finalizing the terms of their divorce in the eight years since, are also parents to Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Pax, 20, Knox, 15, and Vivienne, 15.
In June, a source close to Pitt told People that the Oscar-winning actor was “aware and upset that Shiloh dropped her last name.”
The source added: “Of course, it’s not easy for Brad to remember that he’s lost his children. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”
Earlier this month, Shiloh released a statement to the Los Angeles Times declaring her intention to change her legal name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, in accordance with state law. TMZ reported.

Before a judge will approve a name change petition, a legal form must have been published in a newspaper a month in advance, according to People.
In June, a close source told Dailymail.com that “Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn’t know about it and can’t speak about it. But, if you’re asking me if this is related to Shiloh’s history of abuse or the violation of victims’ rights, yes, that’s part of it.”
Jolie said Pitt had been physically abusive toward her, shaking and pushing her, during a private jet flight in 2016, according to an FBI report on the altercation that was released in 2022.
Jolie told FBI authorities that Pitt had told her children that she had been “screwing this family up” and that she had punched the ceiling of the plane several times. Jolie told officials that Pitt had poured alcohol on a blanket she was holding underneath her children in the 2016 incident.
Her estranged father, Brad Pitt, 60, was photographed at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California, in February.
Shiloh’s mother, Angelina Jolie, 49, was spotted at the Tony Awards at New York’s Lincoln Center in June.
Pitt and Jolie’s high-profile relationship began in the wake of his 2005 divorce from ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, 55.
Pitt and Jolie were not legally married for years, having several children together, until they got engaged in 2012 and married in 2014.
Jolie, whose films include Maleficent, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Girl, Interrupted, filed for divorce in 2016 and both she and Pitt were declared legally single three years later.
Pitt, the star of films such as Fight Club, Moneyball and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, has been romantically linked to jewelry designer Inés de Ramón since 2022.
