Sheridan Smith looked sensational as she attended the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards at The Londoner Hotel in the UK capital on Sunday.
The actress, 42, whose musical Opening Night was recently canceled two months earlier, wore a glamorous black dress as she posed inside the venue.
Sheridan had been playing the lead role of alcoholic actress Myrtle in the West End show, which has been panned by critics and audiences.
Critics complained that they abandoned half of the “boring show” and admitted that not even Sheridan’s star power could save the production.
However, despite the cancellation, Sheridan flashed a beaming smile while attending the awards this weekend.

Sheridan will be honored with the 2024 Variety Club Silver Heart Award for her outstanding contribution as an actress and singer at the event, being particularly recognized for her performance in Shirley Valentine.
Her glamorous black floor-length dress featured a fishtail that trailed across the floor as she posed confidently with her hand on her hip.
The garment had satin lapels and a plunging neckline, and perfectly hugged her hourglass figure.
She flashed a winning smile and accessorized with dazzling silver pendulum earrings for the evening.
Producers of the London musical starring Sheridan cut production short amid what they called a “challenging financial landscape.”
Opening night, based on the 1970 film of the same name about an actress in mental breakdown, was due to run until July 27 in the West End.
Producers Wessex Grove, Gavin Kalin Productions and Playful Productions announced on Thursday that it would end at the Gielgud Theater on May 18.
Wessex Grove said it had been an “honour to produce this beautiful new musical” and thanked director Ivo Van Hove and Rufus Wainwright, who wrote the music and lyrics, and actress Smith.

Sheridan could be seen smiling as he posed with former footballer Peter Crouch’s wife Abbey Clancy (left) at the party.
He added: “In a challenging financial landscape, opening night was always a risk and while the production may not have had the life we hoped for, we are immensely proud of the risk we took and this extraordinary production.”

Gavin & Stacey actress Sheridan plays protagonist Myrtle who, after witnessing a death, loses control while a theater attempts to stage a new play.

The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards celebrated 75 years of Variety on Sunday at The Londoner Hotel.
Announcing the news that the opening night performance would be cut short, the production team said the play “may not have had the life we hoped for.”
Amanda Holden took to the stage to host the glamorous evening to raise money for the children’s charity.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge also hosted last year’s star-studded event which took place at the London Hilton in Park Lane.
It comes after Amanda proved she is committed to her job, having faced a commute nightmare earlier this month after being stuck in her Spanish villa.
The radio star was trying to leave the villa in the early hours to head to a studio to connect with her Heart Breakfast show in the UK, but ran into trouble when she reached the front door.
Sharing a video of the fun morning on Instagram, Amanda told her followers: ‘I’m trying to do Heart from Spain but I’m stuck on the property!’
Pointing to an outbuilding, he exclaimed “we’ve found some stairs” before the video showed the star, coffee in hand, climbing the high fence.
Opening Night will now end at London’s Gielgud Theater on Saturday 18 May, two months earlier than originally planned on 27 July.
Joking that she “speaks fluent Spanish,” Amanda was also trying to communicate what was happening to the driver who was waiting for her on the other side of the fence.
“Then this happened… just trying to go to work,” Amanda captioned the hilarious video, which was set to the music of The Great Escape.
Amanda has been traveling between the UK and Spain, where she is filming the third season of her property renovation show with Alan Carr.
Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job will see the couple take over a ramshackle, ramshackle property in the province of Andalusia.
