- The boy died later that night at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick

A 16-year-old boy died after being hit by a car while crossing the road on his bike.
The teenager drove into Shellharbour, on the south coast of New South Wales, when he was hit by a Nissan sedan on Tuesday around 6 p.m.
He was treated on site for serious head and chest injuries before being flown to the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick to fight for life.

The teenager was hit on Tuesday evening while cycling in the center of Shellharbour, in the south of NSW
He was declared dead later that evening.
The 25-year-old female driver was not injured and underwent mandatory drug and alcohol tests.
A crime scene has been established and the Crash Investigation Unit is investigating.
