Sheffield Wednesday captain Barry Bannan led an X-rated outburst on Rhian Brewster

Brewster had mocked the Owls during Sheffield United’s trophy parade in the city last month

Bannan’s response came after Sheffield Wednesday’s triumph in the League One play-offs
“Rhian Brewster, you are absolutely a fucking horn son,” said the Scottish midfielder.
On Wednesday, the players then began a chant declaring “They’re all f***ing w*****s at the Lane”.
Bannan’s comment came in response to mockery from Brewster on Wednesday during Sheffield United’s own promotion celebrations last month after securing their Premier League spot next season.
Brewster led chants in Steel City as they sang about their bitter rivals, with the 23-year-old asking fans ‘What do you think of Wednesday?
This led to a response of ‘s***’ with Brewster followed by: ‘What do you think of s***?’
The Blades forward then chanted “We hate Wednesday, we hate Wednesday” with the crowd.
Brewster has struggled since joining Sheffield United from Liverpool for £23.5m in October 2020, with the forward scoring five goals in 63 appearances for the club.
The 23-year-old had one goal in 16 league appearances this season, before a hamstring injury suffered in October forced him out for the rest of the campaign.

Bannan, who joined on Wednesday in 2015, was aiming for promotion to the Premier League immediately after lifting the Championship play-off trophy.
“I know there are big teams coming, but we will also be a huge club in this division.” Banana said.
“You look at Sunderland – they got promoted last year, they went up to the Championship and they harnessed the momentum to reach the play-offs on the first try.
“We will try to pull a leaf from their book.
“There are teams that have already done it (moved from Ligue 1 to Prem in two years) and when you get used to winning, it becomes normal, you don’t even think about losing,” he said. -he adds.
