Shawn Mendes showed off his ripped physique while enjoying the sand and sea in Miami earlier this week.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter revealed his six-pack as he took a shirtless dip in a dark swimsuit.
The Canadian singer kept cool on the sunny day just before flying to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He has been retired from touring since 2022, when he cut short his Wonder World Tour to focus on his mental health, but Shawn will be back in the spotlight when he performs at the Rock in Rio festival on Sunday, September 22.
Fans in Rio couldn’t seem to get enough of the reclusive pop singer, however, and Shawn was surrounded by a crowd of enthusiastic Brazilian fans hoping to catch a glimpse or snap a photo of him as he ventured to Ipanema Beach on Thursday.

Shawn’s outing earlier this week in Miami was much more relaxed.
He was photographed emerging from the cool, green water and running for a while along the bright white sand.
His dark hair was wet and slicked back in a messy, rough style, and he sported a short, casual beard and displayed his numerous tattoos.
The In My Blood singer was a little more dressed up when he was photographed in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.
He was wearing a simple white tank top and a pair of dark shorts, along with black-framed sunglasses with amber-tinted lenses.
Shawn was photographed walking barefoot down the street as he walked away from the beach at the conclusion of his outing, but fans and onlookers began to surround him as he attempted to leave.
It appeared he had security guards keeping the adoring crowd at bay, but he was still surrounded by numerous fans holding their phones above their heads in hopes of snapping a blurry photo of the singer.

Shawn wore dark swim trunks and showed off his ripped abs as he took the plunge shirtless. He was seen running across the sand after emerging from the water.
On Thursday he was in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ahead of his headline performance on the final day of the Rock in Rio festival.
He was mobbed by enthusiastic fans as he left the beach. Fortunately, he had security guards to keep them at bay.
The festival cements Shawn’s return to touring following the Wonder World Tour in July 2022.
He announced the abrupt end of the tour in a post shared on Instagram at the time.
“As you may know, I’ve had to postpone the last few weeks’ shows because I wasn’t fully prepared for the price it would take to get back on the road,” he wrote.
‘I started this tour excited to finally play live again after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I wasn’t quite prepared for how difficult it would be to tour after this time away.
‘After talking more with my team and working with an amazing group of healthcare professionals, it became even clearer to me that I need to take the time I never took personally to ground myself and come back stronger.’
He continued: “Regrettably, I have to cancel the remainder of the tour dates in North America and the UK/Europe. We had hoped to be able to resume the remainder of the dates after some much-needed time off, but at this time I have to put my health first.”
Before signing off, Shawn made it clear that he would continue working on new music before returning to the stage again, adding that he was heartbroken for his adoring fans who had already purchased tickets to his concerts.
“I know you’ve all been waiting so long to see these shows, and it breaks my heart to tell you this, but I promise I’ll be back as soon as I’ve taken the proper time to heal,” she added. “I love you all and thank you so much for supporting me and coming with me on this journey.”
Shawn has been off the road, except for a few recent concerts, since July 2022, when he cut short his Wonder World Tour to focus on his mental health; photographed in June 2022 in Portland, Oregon.
Shawn said he was heartbroken for fans who had already purchased tickets, which were refunded, but said health professionals urged him to cancel the remainder of the tour.
Shawn will be returning to the US after taking a break of almost a month.
He’ll return with a show in Nashville at the iconic Ryman Auditorium, before hitting the shores with shows in Brooklyn on October 18, Los Angeles on October 22, and Seattle on October 24.
There are also dates scheduled for March next year in India and South America.
Compared to the breakneck pace of his previous tours, Shawn appears to be following a more relaxed schedule with longer breaks between shows.
