Shawn Mendes turned heads as he flaunted his ripped physique on a beach in Brazil on Friday.
The 26-year-old Mercy hitmaker, who was recently hounded by fans, went shirtless and showed off his ripped abs as he enjoyed a day of surfing.
He was seen dripping in water wearing only a pair of black boxer shorts as he gave fans a glimpse of some of his 17 tattoos.
The Canadian singer’s tanned skin glowed as he splashed into the waves and cooled off.
Shawn’s latest sighting comes just days before he takes the stage at the Rock in Rio festival on Sunday.

The Brazilian music festival, which takes place every two years and lasts for several days, began on September 13 and will end on September 22 at the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro.
Other artists set to perform at the star-studded bash include: Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, Travis Scott, OneRepublic, Mariah Carey, 21 Savage, Ne-Yo and Akon.
The festival marks her formal return to the stage after cancelling her Wonder World Tour in July 2022.
Shawn shocked fans in an Instagram post announcing the abrupt end at the time.
“As you may know, I’ve had to postpone the last few weeks’ shows because I wasn’t fully prepared for the price it would take to get back on the road,” he wrote.
‘I started this tour excited to finally play live again after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I wasn’t quite prepared for how difficult it would be to tour after this time away.
‘After talking more with my team and working with an amazing group of healthcare professionals, it became even clearer to me that I need to take the time I never took personally to ground myself and come back stronger.’
The GRAMMY nominee added: “Regrettably, I have to cancel the remainder of the tour dates in North America and the UK/Europe. We had hoped to be able to resume the remainder of the dates after some much-needed time off, but I have to put my health first at this time.”
He explained to his fans that he was retiring due to mental health issues and that his heart was with the fans who were eagerly awaiting the concert.
“I know you’ve all been waiting so long to see these shows, and it breaks my heart to tell you this, but I promise I’ll be back as soon as I’ve taken the proper time to heal,” she added. “I love you all and thank you so much for supporting me and coming with me on this journey.”

Shawn is scheduled to return to the U.S. stage within a month of his performance at the MTV VMAs on September 11.
He’ll kick off a run of shows in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium on October 14, before hitting Brooklyn on October 18, Los Angeles on October 22 and Seattle on October 24.
The Lost in Japan singer also has dates scheduled for March next year in India and South America.
