Sharon Stone has revealed that she and her sister Kelly were sexually assaulted by their grandfather as children, and claims their grandmother facilitated this by locking them all up in a room together.
Stone, 63, made the revelation in her new memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice.
She says she and Kelly were placed in a room with their grandfather, Clarence Lawson, when they were toddlers, and that their grandmother locked the door for them. He then abused them, she said.

When he died when she was 14, she said she put it in the coffin to make sure he was dead.
I nudged him, and the bizarre satisfaction that he was finally dead hit me like a ton of ice. I looked at [Kelly] and she understood; she was 11, and it was over, ”she said.
Stone grew up in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She was extremely gifted as a child and went to second grade when she was five.
Elsewhere in her memoirs, she revealed that she was told by Basic Instinct producers not to worry about taking off her underwear in the infamous interrogation scene, saying no one could see she wasn’t wearing anything underneath.
‘I was told,’ We can’t see anything – I just want you to take off your panties because the white is reflecting the light, so we know you’re wearing panties. ‘
“Yes, there have been a lot of views on this topic, but since I’m the one with the vagina in question, I want to say, the other views are bull ****,” she wrote.

Stone also contemplated a stroke she suffered when she was 43 that she says almost killed her.

She said the near-death experience calmed her down.
She also described seeing three friends at the hospital who had already passed away and wanted to be with them, but refused, instead, to stick to life.
She was saved by an operation that took seven hours.
Afterward, she said she embraced Buddhism.
‘It’s amazing how much you learn when you have to.
“I became ‘Miss Peace and F ***** g Quiet,’ a title that I value much higher than a Miss Crawford County pageant title,” she wrote.
