Shaquille O’Neal has a questionable plan to quickly make $100 million in the upcoming NBA season.

The Hall of Fame center wants to bet a million dollars on the The Chicago Bulls to win the NBA Finals. But on his podcast, “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” he tried to convince the UFC owner Dana Blanca to join him in the company.

“If we bet a million dollars on the Chicago Bulls, who have the worst odds ever, (and they) win, we make $100 million… I want that damn $100 million! I want the Chicago Bulls,” O’Neal joked.

“Shaq, that’s crazy,” White replied. “How about you put in $500 and I put in $500 and we play baccarat and we win?”

O’Neal was also not receptive to that strategy. The giant prefers to play dice, as he explained on the show. O’Neal also asked White if he and two other people could put up $250,000 to get the million. White also declined.

According to Fanatics Sportsbook, the odds on the Bulls winning the NBA Finals in 2024-25 are +50,000. So, if O’Neal and White were to bet on the Bulls winning the Finals, they would make a profit of $500 million, five times more than O’Neal’s $100 million projection.

But unfortunately, the Bulls’ youth movement will likely prevent them from making it that far in next season’s NBA playoffs. The Bulls recently sent DeMar DeRozan to the Kings through signature and exchange. André Drummond He also left in free agency to sign with the 76ers.

After restructuring their roster, the Bulls traded… Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey (21), selected Matas Buzelis (19), signed center Jalen Smith (24) and re-signed Patrick Williams (22) to pair with Coby Blanco (24), Ayo Dosunmu (24), Julian Phillips (20) and Dalen Terry (22).

The youth movement and restructuring are evident. This is a roster overhaul, which means the Bulls will probably not be a competitive team next season.
