Shaquille O'Neal recently opened up about how his 'dumb** mistakes' led to a lonely life

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has been quietly building a real estate empire despite strongly advising Jason Kelce to avoid making “dumb** mistakes.”

In an episode of The Big Podcast, the four-time NBA champion spoke about losing his family due to his decision-making. He also shared how this resulted in him being alone in “a 100,000 square foot house.”

“If you’re going to retire, accept it,” O’Neal told the Philadelphia Eagles star. ‘Enjoy your family brother. I made a lot of dumb mistakes to the point where I lost my family and had no one. That’s not your case.

‘So enjoy your beautiful wife, enjoy your beautiful children and never dwell on what we had. Do you have the [Super Bowl] Ring, people know who you are, enjoy it. Because again I was an idiot. I lost my entire family [and] I’m alone in a 100,000 square foot house.’

Despite lamenting living a solitary life inside huge mansions, O’Neal owns several colossal properties.
