Shaquille O’Neal has been accused of “lying” after the NBA legend denied he was the man at the centre of a viral photo.
On Tuesday, influencer María Ozuna Teachey posted a photo with a man and invited her fans to guess who she was with.
The man in the picture is towering over Teachey and has his hands on her breasts. His face is hidden from view. “Can you guess whose feet these are? #Iloveyou,” he wrote in the caption.
NBA fans immediately claimed it was O’Neal, believing they had discovered his new secret relationship.
But the 2.15-metre-tall icon poured cold water on the allegations, writing on Instagram: “No, not the boy.”

“Shaq thinks we can’t see him,” one user wrote on social media after the image emerged.
Teachey reportedly posted a cryptic update that appeared to question O’Neal’s denial.
He also posted a series of photos showing him posing in the same pose as the man in the viral photo.
“Trust me, I’ll tell you who my wife is and by the way, my wife’s name is Shaqrah,” O’Neal wrote.
But Teachey, who has more than 200,000 followers on Instagram, reportedly posted a cryptic update that appeared to question O’Neal’s denial.
In a screenshot of a caption (which no longer appears on her Instagram page but was reposted by The Shade Room), the influencer wrote: “Come on boy it’s been a while. Why did she lie to them? I’m so sick of it.”
Shaq is now a popular NBA analyst and fans enjoyed poking fun at the former Lakers star after the image first surfaced.
“Shaq thinks we can’t see him,” wrote one user on social media. “Shaq and his new girlfriend,” added another.
