Shannon Sharpe was hilariously snubbed by the paparazzi while out and about in LA earlier this week, while Selena Gomez and her security team were in the middle of his street interview with a reporter.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer was asked about his thoughts on America’s participation in the FIBA World Cup earlier this month as he stood in front of Giorgio Baldi’s door in Del Mar on Monday evening, when out of nowhere the singer and actress appeared behind him .
The cameraman had little to no time to focus his attention on Selena, so he had to quickly tell Shannon to hold his thoughts while he shot the former Disney teen’s departure from the Italian restaurant.
After completing his task, the photographer resumed the conversation with Shannon and apologized for the impromptu interruption.
But the ESPN analyst wasn’t bothered by the action of the interview at all, saying, “No bro. You good.’

The two continued their conversation about sports, specifically Deion Sanders’ impact on Colorado’s 3-0 start this year that has taken college football by storm.
Sharpe, who attended Sanders’ home coaching debut last weekend along with fellow Hall of Famers Michael Irvin and Terrell Owens, as well as the Wu-Tang Clan, later replied to a fan who asked him about the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter, and why the paparazzi had to play him ‘like that’.
‘If I had known it was her. I ABSOLUTELY would have asked her for a picture,” the 55-year-old shared, referring to Gomez. He told another fan who claimed the cameraman had done him ‘dirty’ in a separate tweet: ‘No they didn’t. I don’t sell photos. She is. I’m okay with it.’
“I bet IF* I’m ever in the same place as them again. I’ll get a photo. Immediately walk forward and say: Excuse me. Would you mind taking a photo with me,” Sharpe added in a third follow-up tweet.
Shannon later discussed the incident online and insisted the paparazzi were just doing their job
Earlier this week, Sharpe shot another celebrity in the form of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of the start of the 2023-2024 season next month.
The former NFL tight end, who has won three Super Bowls, called out the “Greek Freak” for doubting the Milwaukee Bucks’ commitment to pursuing another NBA title, while one of his brothers, who according to Shannon isn’t good enough to play for any title, other NBA team, currently occupies a roster spot.
“You know very well, Giannis, that your brothers probably won’t play for any other team in the NBA except Milwaukee, and that’s only because of you,” Shannon said, referring to Giannis’ older brother, Thanasis. despite believing two of the 28-year-old’s siblings were members of the Bucks.
“So you keep talking about surrounding yourself with talent; there are two places occupied by your brothers.’

Giannis has suggested he will seek a move away from Milwaukee in the near future as he worries the team isn’t committed to winning another championship.
“As long as we play and approach the game the right way every day and we all sacrifice for a common goal, I see myself staying with the Milwaukee Bucks for the rest of my career,” he said on “48 Minutes.” ‘ Bleav podcast.
“But at the moment when I feel like people aren’t as committed as I am to getting that gold thing in the back… I’m a Milwaukee Buck, but most importantly, I’m a winner. I want to win.
“I’ve got to do whatever it takes to win, and if there’s a better situation to win the Larry O’Brien (championship trophy), I’ve got to take that better situation.”
But Sharpe also said: ‘You have a new coach, Adrian Griffin, give him a chance. You gave Mike Budenholzer a chance.”
