“I’m so sorry to have disappointed you all. What kind of role model am I at 59?” Beador told the girls – Sophie, 22, and twins Stella and Adeline, 19.
He also expressed regret at not being able to visit Stella in Paris, where she was studying abroad, as she was unable to leave the country due to her legal problems.
Shannon pleaded guilty to the DUI charge, and the hit-and-run charge was later dismissed.

In a sneak peek of the Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 premiere, the 60-year-old star sat her girls down for a heart-to-heart, during which she tearfully apologized for her behavior.
The reality TV personality was sentenced to 40 hours of community service and ordered to complete a nine-month alcohol program after the incident, in which she crashed into a home in Orange County.
Shannon explained that a fight with her ex John Janssen led her to get behind the wheel last fall after having been drinking.
In the seven-minute sneak peek shared by Bravo, she revealed that Janssen had warned her not to drive and called her a “drunk idiot.”
“A second later I had an accident because I revved the engine to let him know how angry I was. And I lost control of the car immediately,” she admitted to her three daughters, whom she shares with her ex-husband David Beador.
In March, David was charged with two misdemeanors related to a traffic stop; Newport Beach police pulled him over for allegedly driving over 100 mph on February 4.
Shannon described her September DUI as a “terrible mistake” when referring to the arrest at BravoCon 2023 in November.
“It’s been a tough six weeks, but I will tell you that I made a terrible, terrible mistake and I’m incredibly grateful that it didn’t hurt anyone,” Beador told the audience at the time.
He also said he completed “28 days of behavioral wellness counseling” with an alcohol specialist.
