Channel’s Nine’s new Shane Warne docuseries, titled Warnie, has recreated a steamy sex scene between the late cricketer and supermodel Elizabeth Hurley.
In an episode that aired Monday night, Warne and Hurley, played by British actress Shanti Kali, are pictured meeting in a hotel room in London.
While Hurley takes a bath, Warne, played by Australian actor Alex Williams, waits on a nearby bed for her to join him.
‘I can not believe this. It must be a dream. Liz Hurley,” he gushes in a voiceover.
The pair are next seen romping on a bed, with Hurley in lingerie, before a fire alarm goes off.

“What’s that horrible sound?” Hurley asks between passionate kisses, to which Warne replies, “It’s a false alarm.” Just don’t listen. It happens constantly’.
The couple then get dressed and run out into the street, recreating the moment Hurley and Warne cuddled outside the cricket legend’s London hotel in 2010 and were caught by paparazzi, revealing their romance to the world.
The Windsor Hotel in Melbourne replaced London in the series, with Kali and Williams passionately kissing against a wall.
“A number of shots were required for technical reasons, so there was plenty of time for spectators to notice the whole spectacle,” Kali told The Herald Sun this month.

The English model and actress said she watched “pretty much everything I could get my hands on” to get Hurley’s mannerisms right.
“She’s just such a grounded, hard-working, witty and wonderful human being,” she said.
Kali worked as an international model for many years and appeared in Elle Magazine, UK Glamour, Tatler and in campaigns for Uniqlo, Ugg, Nivea.
She was born and raised in London and now lives in Sydney. Warnie marks her first major acting role.
Shane and Elizabeth first got together in late 2010 before he popped the question to the Austin Powers actress in September 2011, but they sadly split in 2013.

Warne said of the romance in 2018, “Who knows what the future holds. There is a difference between being in love with someone and loving someone. I’ll always love Elizabeth, but I don’t think we’ll ever get back together.”
Warne’s words came after labeling his romance with Elizabeth as the “happiest time of his life.”
The cricketer reflected on his romance with Elizabeth and said: ‘When we were together we both had a great time. Unfortunately it didn’t work out.
“It wasn’t something she or I did wrong, it just spilled over.” We’re still good friends, we’re still in touch, we’re good to each other and our kids get along.”
He told the Mirror: ‘I was more in love with Elizabeth than I realized I could be. I miss the love we had. My years with Elizabeth were the happiest of my life.’ .
The greatest wrist spinner in cricket history died suddenly of a heart attack aged just 52 on March 4 while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand.
