With chapters dedicated to the different stages of a love story (heartbreak, rage, healing, celebration, comfort, longing, and love), it’s no surprise that Taylor Swift’s discography is the inspiration behind many of the recipes.
This includes a midori vodka cocktail, inspired by Swift’s hit song ‘Karma’ from her album ‘Midnights’, which is made up of egg whites, triple sec, lemon juice and fruit garnishes.
“With the bright green of this drink, I wanted to evoke that wonderfully smug aesthetic, not to mention the green monster of envy, the kind of envy someone might feel if karma wasn’t such a soothing thought to them,” the author said.
The drinks are designed to look as good as they taste, even specifying which piece of glassware will best suit your mood.
And if you don’t drink, Gibson said you can leave out the alcohol and make it a mocktail.
