A BET-nominated rapper offered her condolences to the two victims of a shooting that occurred while she was filming a music video in Florida.
Rapper Sexyy Red, 25, was filming a music video with fellow artist Sukihana at the Oakland Park Flea Market in Florida on Thursday evening when nearby gunshots were heard.
Florida police officers swarmed the area after the shooting and found two victims of the shooting, one of whom died according to local media.
A body bag was spotted at the scene of the incident.
Police spent hours investigating the scene of the shooting, and many speculated that the incident and the shooting of the rappers’ video were directly linked.

local media WPLG reported that deputies with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people, although authorities have yet to provide official comments on the incident.
Sexyy Red, real name Janae Nierah Wherry, has denied being linked to the shooting.
She said on her Instagram Story: “I send my condolences to the family of the man who lost his life and my prayers for the person who was injured.
“But I have to address the rumors that this happened during my video shoot (because) that’s not true at all.”
“To be clear, this happened at a gas station across from my video set.
“The Florida Highway Patrol and the Broward County Sheriff have confirmed that filming did not take place on my set.
“Thank you to my production team (for) completing all the paperwork and working with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to hire people off duty (sic) to make sure everyone was safe.
“We finished filming in a different location and everyone on set returned home safely. Period.
‘I’m just trying to work hard, make good music, connect with my fans. Please don’t try to twist the narratives and put this on ab****.’
Wherry previously posted a video of Florida police officers escorting his car shortly after the shooting, writing in the caption, “I’ve gotten all the police escorts, they’re going crazy.”
She was reportedly filming the music video for her upcoming song “Shake Ya Dreadz” at the time with Sukihana, whose real name is Destiny Lanette Henderson.
Wherry was seen dancing and performing in front of a crowd at the flea market in videos posted to social media.
She also shared a clip to her Instagram Story of dozens of fans with their cars invading the area near the flea market.
Wherry rose to fame earlier this year after releasing her hit song “Pound Town.”
She managed to reach even greater heights after releasing a remix of the song featuring Nicki Minaj.
Wherry and fellow rapper Drake fueled rumors that they were dating earlier this year.
Drake, 36, previously sparked rumors he was dating the 25-year-old American rapper when he planted a kiss on her cheek in a snap in July.
The rumored couple sparked speculation again when they posed for more cozy snaps during the It’s A Blur tour stop in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
Sexyy Red called Drake “her man” in the caption of the images, sending her fans into overdrive in the comments section.
In the snap, Sexyy Red – whose real name is Janae Nierah Wherry – showed off her peachy bum in a pair of skintight mini shorts.
