Sad footage shows a seven-year-old being led away in tears after a heartless goalkeeper from his favorite team saved his shots.

Enok Varga, a young MTK Budapest fan, was allowed onto the team’s pitch on his birthday to score a goal before a match against DVTK Diosyor started.

Just before kick-off, the boy had the chance to fly the ball towards the opponent’s goal, but goalkeeper Ma Zsombor Senkó saved both his shots.

Images show how the boy runs excitedly with the ball and aims it at the ball goal before the keeper effortlessly kicks it away.

The child confidently retrieves the ball and tries again – only to have his score saved by the keeper for the second time.

You see spectators staring disapprovingly at the field, while little Enok is carried away in tears.

A comment on Twitter said: ‘I bet that goalkeeper feels huge. His ego must be extraordinary after those two mental saves.

What a goalkeeper he is. Saving a young child.’

Another person on Twitter wrote, “That goalkeeper is heartless.”

Another remarked, “The GK doesn’t have to do that – it doesn’t have to at all.”

Someone else wrote, ‘Poor little fellow broke his dream, honestly there are hard lessons to be learned in life that aren’t one of them at that age, I personally don’t think.’

Barstool Football commented, “Life sucks mate, get used to it.”
