Channel Seven appears to be backing its new star, Dr Chris Brown, to the hilt.
In a surprise move, the network renewed the 45-year-old celebrity veterinarian’s series Dream Home before its first season premiered.
Based on a successful New Zealand format, the reality show will see six couples attempt to convert each other’s homes room by room.
The show will be Brown’s debut in the network’s Seven series, after the former I’m Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here star made her shock exit from Channel 10 last year.
Meanwhile, the producers of Dream Home have announced a casting call for season 2. television black box on Tuesday.

According to the casting warning The creators are looking for couples who dream of renovating their home.
“Not only will your house be transformed into the home of your dreams: for free, you will also compete for a life-changing cash prize!” the ad said.
He continues: “You don’t need to be a professional or even have experience, just someone with an eye for design and a desire to get their hands dirty.”

This season’s winner will receive the “dream home” and a grand prize of $100,000.

The TV star is reportedly “feeling the pressure” with her upcoming roles on Seven.
In addition to Dream Home, there is a new animal adventure series Once In A Lifetime.
“I think he’s finding it difficult,” a source told New Idea magazine.
“He’s changed his whole life by moving to Seven, and he might be feeling the pressure.”

The source added that the network is “ruthless” with ratings and trusts Brown when “the cameras start rolling.”
“You can’t afford to accumulate things,” they added.
Brown signed a two-year deal with Seven worth more than $1 million a year, following his contractual obligations with I’m A Celebrity on his previous network.
Dream Home is coming to Seven and 7Plus later in 2024.
