A Twitter user wrote: Why do not you ask the families to be raped and murdered? I doubt that they will find your joke funny, maybe you do not want them with them anymore. & # 39;

Another reverberated: & # 39; I have always enjoyed your humor, but this is insulting. Fine if you do not want the wall, but please do not make jokes about victims and their families.
No one deserves to die and if they do, we can honor their memories. You are nothing less than a shame to forget that. & # 39;
One person wrote: & # 39; Wonder if you would make the same statement if you had lost someone dear to you? # sad & # 39;

Trump spoke to the Oval Office of the White House for nine minutes on Tuesday, denouncing Congress Democrats for accusing them of bloodshed by illegal immigrants
During his nine-minute speech, Trump referred to the Californian agent Ronil Singh, who reportedly was shot down on December 26 and killed by the illegal immigrant Gustavo Perez Arriaga.
"America's heart broke the day after Christmas when a young policeman was fiercely murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien who just came across the border," he said.
& # 39; The life of an American hero was stolen by someone who had no right to be in our country. & # 39;
During his nine-minute speech, Trump referred to the Californian agent Ronil Singh (above), who was allegedly shot and killed by illegal immigrant Gustavo Perez Arriaga on December 26th.
The president continued: "Day after day, precious lives are shortened by those who have violated our borders.
In California, a veteran of the Air Force was raped, murdered and beaten to death with a hammer by an illegal alien with a long criminal history.
In Georgia, an illegal person was recently charged with murder for the killing, decapitation and dismantling of his neighbor.
In Maryland, MS-13 gang members arriving in the United States were arrested as unaccompanied minors and sued last year after cruelly stabbing and beaten a 16-year-old girl.
& # 39; In recent years I have met dozens of families whose loved ones were stolen by illegal immigrants. I have held the hands of the mothers and embraced the sad fathers. So sad, so terrible. I will never forget the pain in their eyes, the trembling in their voices and the grief that seizes their souls.
& # 39; How much American blood should we lose before Congress does its work?
"To those who refuse to compromise on behalf of the border security, I would ask: Imagine that it was your child, your husband or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken.
& Give each congressman a law that ends this crisis. To every citizen: call the conference and tell them to finally secure our border after all those decades.
& # 39; This is a choice between good and evil, justice and injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve. & # 39;
