Ian Wright believes Sergio Agüero should join Chelsea after leaving Manchester City at the end of the season.
City announced that the Argentine striker would be leaving Etihad Stadium once his contract expires this summer, after spending ten years at the club.
With his future in the air, Wright says Aguero would benefit from having ‘Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic all around him’ at Chelsea.

Aguero has been linked with several European giants, many of whom believe he will reunite with Lionel Messi in Barcelona.
However, speaking on Ringer FC’s Wrighty’s House podcast, the former Arsenal legend said Aguero would benefit from a move to Stamford Bridge.
He believes the Premier League’s fourth-highest scorer of all time could add more goals to his score with the speed of Chelsea’s midfield.
‘Can I throw something out there? He should go to Chelsea, ”Wright said on the podcast.

‘If you look at Edinson Cavani [at Manchester United] and the pace of the guys behind him, you look at Luis Suarez at Atleti, the pace and everything they have around him.
Can you imagine Aguero topping Chelsea for Chelsea with Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, all those guys, [Callum] Hudson-Odoi, [Christian] Pulisic around him, that’s 25 goals.
‘Me, if I’m Chelsea and I can get it for free, I’ll go in.
“I’ve made all this in my head that he’s mad at Pep [Guardiola] and something like that he will say, “Yes, I’m going to Chelsea”. ‘
Wright also shared his views on Aguero’s departure, claiming it was Pep Guardiola’s decision.
He said, ‘I think that decision comes from Pep Guardiola, Pep Guardiola doesn’t want him there anymore.
‘I heard his [Guardiola’s] interview [after the Crystal Palace win]”What a goal, what an action, what a player, what a man, I am incredibly happy that he is back”, none of that makes sense to me. The fact that we now know he is leaving makes no sense.
Wright says it “doesn’t make sense for him to leave” after a solid game against Crystal Palace

‘He was so sharp against Crystal Palace. How a player of that caliber, however good he is, does not start against PSG [in the Champions League semi-final first leg] when you saw the odds they created where they didn’t have No. 9, you saw how he took his chance against Palace, you think you need a half shot taker.
“We’re talking about entering the next phase for Pep to get to where he should be [winning the Champions League], where he went with Barcelona, but he has to make do with another team.
‘You enter that situation without perhaps being one of the biggest strikers. It doesn’t make sense for him to leave. ‘
