Earlier this week, Selma, who was open about her recovery from multiple sclerosis, celebrated her return to one of her favorite pastimes, horseback riding.

The avid rider shared an Instagram photo of himself back in the saddle this week: “After being away for months, I’m back riding with Kelly at @cellardoorequestrian.”

“We all like our new location a little closer to my own home, so I think Scout and I can smile for miles more often.”

“Thank you Jeff @bayridgefarmllc for being so welcoming and kind while we use your ring for a spell. Thanks everyone. HRH Nibbles especially.”

Scout, an English Red Fox Lab, recently graduated from Selma as an assistance dog team, after a year and a half of training – to help with the star’s mobility issues due to multiple sclerosis.

Selma recently discussed her MS on Instagram, showing the reality of the disease.
