Chrishell Stause and her Australian spouse G-Flip were forced to evacuate their $3.3 million Hollywood Hills mansion amid the deadly Los Angeles fires.
The Selling Sunset star has given an update following her evacuation, revealing that the catastrophic fires had brought to light some long-forgotten trauma.
Chrishell took to Instagram on Thursday to share a clip promoting her latest series The Traitors, which aired in the US that night.
The promo changed gears when Chrishell shared how she was coping after her evacuation, revealing that she, G-Flip, and her faithful dog Gracie were safe and sound.
“Hello from California,” Chrishell began the clip.
“They were two extremely long nights. I haven’t slept, we evacuated last night but thank God they put out the fire quickly.

“If it had happened the night before, when there were winds and they weren’t allowed to fly, it would have been a completely different story.”
Chrishell added that despite being evacuated to safety, she was still in a “red zone,” meaning she was not completely out of danger.
“I’m very grateful,” she said. “We are still in the red zone, that means we still have to leave at any time.”
He also took a moment to acknowledge the awkward moment of promoting a television series in the middle of a major catastrophe.
‘It felt strange posting that, but maybe you needed a little respite, maybe you need escapism. “I know we could use some here in California,” he said.
“I’m just asking you to be nice. I have a job to do. I love doing the show.”
Chrishell also shared that her experience in the deadly Los Angeles wildfires had brought up long-forgotten trauma.
“Last night reminded me of when I was 12 years old and I watched my house burn and everything I had in it, which obviously wasn’t much at the time,” he said.

He added that the memory had triggered “a bit” of post-traumatic stress disorder, before his wife G-Flip (left), whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo, helped her “get over it”.

“Luckily I had my partner, who is amazing, who pulled me through this and helped me stay focused.”

“Immediate evacuation in my area,” Chrishell captioned a post made to her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
“G, Gracie and I are safe and out of the house,” she continued, ending the post with five broken heart emojis.
Earlier today, the reality TV star shared a map of the inferno ravaging surrounding neighborhoods and asked her 4 million social media followers to pray for her family.
“Thankfully my area is safe for now,” he wrote, before adding: “Impossible to sleep while your city burns.” Please pray for us.’
