Selling Sunset Season 8 Newcomer Amanda Lynn Is Under Fire After Her Alleged Racist Tweets Went Viral On TikTok

The controversy surrounding the upcoming new season of Selling Sunset is reaching a fever pitch, with a viral TikTok video appearing to show racist tweets from new cast member Amanda Lynn dealing the latest blow to the Netflix show.

With the new episodes set to drop just days ago, a clip has begun circulating on social media that appears to expose the real estate agent’s alleged old posts, in which she retweeted comments that included the n-word.

The video, posted by TikTok user stephwithdadeets, shows a screenshot of tweets that were apparently posted by Amanda in 2012 and 2013.

Two of the tweets included a quote from another user who had used the n-word, while a third was a racist quote. His profile is now private.

Explaining her findings, the TikTok user said in the video: “The newbie is Amanda Lynn. She’s also a real estate agent and also has a racist past.

‘From the Season 8 trailer, it looks like Amanda Lynn is the one who goes to Bre (Tiesi) with the story about Chelsea’s (Lazkani) husband.

“Someone sent me these old tweets from Amanda Lynn. And Amanda Lynn has used the n-word multiple times.”

The TikTok video has garnered a lot of attention online and was even reposted by Selling Sunset’s Chelsea, 31, who shared it on her profile without comment.

She then posted: ‘I’m going to tell you all the truth about this season’s cast so you can make a decision on who to root for.

“Most of you have been blind for a long time and I regret not doing this sooner. I wanted to keep the peace to avoid being criticized or seen as someone jealous.”

She continued: ‘But really and seriously WHY would I be jealous of anyone, let alone a woman who doesn’t look like me?

‘I am my own mirror in the office and I’ve been standing firm since DAY 1. I ain’t afraid of no b*tch.’

The post was also widely shared on Reddit and X, where users accused Netflix of failing to conduct thorough background checks on the cast.

“When we ask for drama, we don’t ask for intolerance. Jesus is in charge of evaluating the production of these new women.”

On Reddit, another posted: ‘I really don’t understand why they keep making Selling Sunset such a horrible show cast wise.

“Don’t you see how much people dislike Selling The OC? We don’t need a repeat of it.”

A third commented: “This is a genuine question. Who in 2012 thought it was acceptable to use the n-word? I didn’t and NEVER have. People are absolute rubbish.”

DailyMail.com has contacted Amanda and Netflix for comment.

Amanda, who describes herself as an international real estate agent, is one of the newcomers who will make her debut in season eight.

Her explosive arrival was teased in the show’s trailer, in which she is seen telling her friend Bre that she had “heard something” about Chelsea’s husband, before news of their divorce was announced.

This latest controversy comes amid a major feud among the cast after early screenings showed Nicole Young had secretly spread a rumor that Emma Hernan had an affair with a married man in the upcoming season, prompting Chrishell Stause, 43, and Chelsea to speak out about it.

They claimed their 33-year-old friend was “shocked” by Nicole’s “disgusting” and “categorically false” lie and accused Done and Done Productions, the company behind Selling Sunset, of “spreading lies to get views.”

In a series of explosive social media posts, Chrishell threatened to leave the hit show and vowed to never work with Nicole again, while slamming the production company for allegedly not giving Emma a chance to respond to the rumor.

She wrote: ‘Are we still giving airtime to LIARS who just want airtime?’

In another post he wrote: ‘I will NEVER work on a show she’s on again. I’d rather get sued.

‘Disclaimer: When you watch the video, you should know that she is telling a disgusting lie about her best friend that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. IT IS NOT TRUE.’

She then tagged Done and Done Productions and added, “You’re disgusting for blindsiding her with this for the world to see instead of letting her AT LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”

Chelsea also publicly criticized the “diabolical” Nicole and the producer.

She said: ‘Good morning everyone except @nicoleyoung. You are the most evil piece of (trash can emoji) I have ever met.

‘You want to start a rumour about Emma because all the rumours about you are true. Fine, let’s see how that goes… @done_and_done_productions where is your moral ground and integrity? Spreading lies to gain views is very damaging.’

In another post, Chelsea tagged the Instagram profiles of Nicole, Bre and Mary Bonnet and added: “You lie, appease and steal while your own (trash can emoji) has landed some of you in lawsuits. I’ve stayed quiet until now but this is not okay.”
