Zoe Saldana won her first Golden Globe on Sunday, and fans praised her fellow nominee and co-star Selena Gomez for her reaction.
Both Saldaña, 46, and Gómez, 32, were nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Musical for their roles in the Netflix hit Emilia Pérez.
While many expected Wicked star Ariana Grande to take home the award, Saldana beat out Grande, Gomez and Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Margaret Qualley (The Substance) and Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) for the award.
Moments before the winner was announced, Gomez was seen mouthing “Zoe Zoe Zoe” before her co-star’s name was announced, as she jumped to her feet, hugged her mother before turning to Gomez and saying : “I love you!”.
He then approached Gomez and shared a hug before walking over to accept his award.
Fans quickly took to social media to praise Gomez’s reaction, especially since she herself was nominated for the same award.

Emilia Pérez led the film category with four awards, including Best Film: Musical or Comedy.
