The melee took place outside of Cosmo on Carson in South Pittsburgh at around 3pm on Sunday. DeVincent Spriggs, the 26-year-old alleged victim, suffered a concussion, a broken nose, a broken arm and a badly bruised eye that required 16 stitches, according to his attorney, Todd Hollis.

Los Angeles Rams’ defensive tackle Aaron Donald has not yet been charged with assault
While the images are not entirely clear, Donald does not appear to be the aggressor, nor is he seen delivering a punch. Instead, he has seen one of the fighters pull off the victim.
Donald’s attorney, Casey White, says the recently released security footage indemnifies his client, a Pittsburgh resident and former University of Pittsburgh star.
“He’s actually saving Mr. Spriggs from further injuries.” White told the Pittsburgh radio station 93.7 The fan
“There’s not much more to be done to be honest with you, because he wasn’t attacked by Aaron Donald; he was actually rescued by Aaron Donald, ”White continued. Mr. Spriggs has to write a “thank you card” to Aaron Donald. “
“He didn’t cause any trouble, he clearly witnessed trouble,” White said. “He has a lot of friends in Pittsburgh and he loves Pittsburgh, he lives here off season.”

The altercation reportedly took place in an alleyway (pictured) outside Cosmo club on Carson
As Hollis told the Associated Press earlier this week, Spriggs and Donald got into a skirmish outside Cosmo on Carson, a nightclub on the south side of town, around 3 a.m. Sunday.
“We think there was a misunderstanding that Mr. Spriggs ran into Mr. Donald and that Mr. Donald escalated the case, which led to my client’s attack moments later,” Hollis said.
“They have done a preliminary investigation and they will investigate the matter and contact us as soon as they have more information,” Hollis said.
According to Hollis, Spriggs is not from Pennsylvania, which has not indicated where his client lives.
However, Donald is one of Pittsburgh’s favorite sons, having played at the University of Pittsburgh before being picked in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Despite being below par for a 6-foot defensive tackle, Donald has established himself as one of football’s finest linemen, having been selected for the Pro Bowl in each of his seven seasons.
Donald is currently signed to one of the largest contacts in the NFL: a six-year deal worth up to $ 135 million with $ 86 million guaranteed. So far, Donald has made more than $ 77 million during his seven-year NFL career.
