WHAT TO TRY: Women often neglect the upper body: Try the dumbbell floor press to target the chest, upper back, and triceps in one go.
Lie down with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Hold a dumbbell (or a water bottle or a can of beans) in each hand and extend your arms away from your body, as if approaching each wall.
Bend your elbows so the dumbbells rise, then stretch your arms out and up in front of you, pushing the dumbbells toward the sky.
Bend your elbows to lower the weights until your triceps touch the floor.
Repeat ten times, for two sets, several times a week.
