“There have been so many times when I’ve had many lonely nights with Friends, I’ll tell you that,” he noted.

She replied, “It’s sometimes a friend to have in the room.”

The Marvel star then asked her exactly how it felt to talk about Rachel on the Friends reunion show after being away from her for so many years, including whether it felt “redemptive.”

“It was all of the above, honestly. I don’t know if we expected it to hit us as hard as it did in the emotional gut. We just had this idea this was going to be so much fun – we’re going back to the sets just the way they were. And literally every corner of a shelf was the same. It was so creepy. But all of us, we walked in, it was like, “Oh!” she replied.

Aniston continued, “Time travel. It was ’04 when it ended. And we were different. We were so small. Our life lay before us. And so much has changed. We had some kind of rose-colored glasses in it. And then it was like, “This is really a lot heavier than I thought.” But I wouldn’t change it one bit. Every time we all get together, it’s like no time has passed.

‘We actually grew up together and learned a lot from each other. We cheated on each other because the world was happening. We exploded, and that kind of fame was sudden. And we were in these four walls and doing the show, and this madness happens. And thank goodness we had each other, because we really couldn’t talk about it outside. It was before social media, so we still had some common sense.”

In it, Romanian-born, New York-raised Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, who had an ecstasy-fueled conversation about monogamy with his genitals, played an animatronic doll voiced by Jason Mantzoukas.

The 53-year-old Emmy winner asked, ‘How do you prepare for that? How does it read on the page?’

The train of thought begins to panic. It was a tricky scene to shoot because we didn’t know if it would really work – if it would be too much or not,” explained Sebastian.

“There were parts, manuals and prosthetics and stuff, and people with wires plugging things into sockets.”

Jennifer exclaimed, “That’s crazy!”

‘Well. Look, we have the benefits of CGI. But we went for it the old-fashioned way, which was an interesting experience,” Stan noted.
