Oscar nominee Sarah Miles is known for drinking her own urine every day and her appeal of famous lovers.
She married screenwriter Robert Bolt (twice) and had affairs with Laurence Olivier, her co-star on Ryan’s Daughter Robert Mitchum and filmmaker Steven Spielberg. And now the spunky actress has been added to their numbers and has gotten a new lover at the age of 79.
The Essex-born star tells me she spent with her new partner, a lawyer and 20 years her junior, in her medieval West Sussex mansion.
“His name is Jeeves – the name was his idea,” she giggles girlishly. “And we had a great time.”

Miles is reluctant to reveal his full identity, only revealing that he lives locally and that their romance didn’t flourish through secret rendezvous and snatched kisses. “We started playing chess and backgammon and then things started to develop,” she says.
She was less forthright about his qualities as a lover. “I don’t discuss my love life on the phone.”
Jeeves nickname is typical of the playful and mischievous nature of the actress.

She called Olivier ‘Lionel’ during their on-off 20-year affair because ‘he was obsessed with Richard the Lionheart’. He called her ‘Pussycat’.
She lived briefly with Spielberg in Los Angeles (“He was charming, just like a little boy – although it was our dogs that fell in love first”).
She also had a schoolgirl in love with her Roedean contemporary, the future Baroness Chalker, and was mesmerized by “her generous breasts.”

Famous for her quirky eccentricities and belief in crop circles, time curves and the healing power of dolphins, Miles has turned her home into a center of healing.
“She had people living in yurts and coming in and out,” a pre-pandemic visitor tells me.
Her previous lover, a gambling addict, cleaned her up completely and she vowed never to have a partner again. So it’s good to hear that she has changed her mind and returned to the amorous struggle.
Hills live with the sound of Trudie
It’s not Austria, but that didn’t stop Sting’s wife, Trudie Styler, from reenacting the classic scene from The Sound Of Music, with Julie Andrews.
The film producer, 67, has spent the past year with Sting in their 16th-century Tuscan villa, Il Palagio, from where she posted this photo of herself in a multi-colored dress, singing at the top of her lungs with arms outstretched.
“Finish this caption,” she playfully wrote online. ‘The hills are alive with the sound of …’

It’s been six years since she directed the movie Fifty Shades Of Gray, which cost over £ 400 million at the box office, but Sam Taylor-Johnson admits she’s still recovering. “Fifty Shades of Misery – it was two years of discomfort,” she says. ‘I suffered daily from the machinations of madness and thought,’ Why did I decide to become a filmmaker? This is just pure hell. “I learned a lot – not necessarily things I wanted to learn.”
Fergie’s magnolia tribute
She did everything she could to prove herself worthy of his affection and forgiveness. But despite her best efforts, Sarah, Duchess of York, never quite persuaded Prince Philip to fully bring her back into the fold after her divorce from his son.
Nevertheless, I can reveal that Fergie, 61, will mark the death of the Duke of Edinburgh by planting a magnolia tree in his honor at Royal Lodge, the Windsor residence that she and Prince Andrew share. “The magnolia will bloom every year around the time of Prince Philip’s death,” Fergie’s friend assures me. When her daughters and ex-husband go to Philip’s funeral this Saturday, she will see it on television – “like the public,” explains a friend.
The Duchess’s relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh has never recovered from a weekend she spent at Balmoral in 1992, which coincided with the publication of photos of her reclining topless by a swimming pool in France while her toes were sucked by her American. ‘financial advisor’ John Bryan.
Hats off to Lady Henrietta Rous, sister of the Earl of Stradbroke. At the age of 72, she has completed her first half marathon – days after injuring her right leg. “I fell down the stairs,” says Lady Henrietta. “I damaged my ankle.” Others may have withdrawn. But not Henrietta, who ran for Amnesty International in the Royal Parks Half Marathon. I stumbled on. Hyde Park looked so beautiful, ”she said.
Big step for Supernova and her son
Supermodel Natalia Vodianova gets a kick out of her teenage son’s stylish new venture. The 39-year-old, who is married to French millionaire Antoine Arnault, shared a photo of herself at home in Paris wearing an oversized sweater and £ 286 sneakers designed by none other than her eldest of five, Lucas, 19.
“Can you tell I’m excited?” she says ahead of the launch of its eco-friendly Fashion Baby label. ‘The fact that he uses high-end vegan leather and suede and is committed to waste-free production is what will make his brand stand out.’
Lucas’ father is Natalia’s former husband, Justin Portman, son of the 9th Viscount Portman’s heir.

Freedom is. Bags with style for Lady Kitty
Many of us flocked to the pub this week to celebrate the lockdown’s end, but Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, is more focused on getting her fashion fix.
Earl Spencer’s 30-year-old daughter left a building in London with large shopping bags, including one from retail giant Net-A-Porter.
Having been unable to go to the stores for the past few months, model Dolce & Gabbana, who wore a floral dress, pink jacket and stilettos for the occasion, spent time in the capital with her fiancé, £ 80 million fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 62.
