Police are looking for an 18-year-old swimmer who was reported missing Saturday night off Freshwater Beach in northern Sydney.
Three friends are said to have gone swimming at the popular beach at Manly. Two returned to shore, but the third, a man, did not, witnesses told police.

The Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter, a police helicopter and a police boat conducted the search, which began around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
A number of bystanders gathered in the dunes near the beach on Saturday night as the search continued.
