It seems the 20-year-old isn’t ready to leave his current TV at home just yet.

“He’s a big part of the Channel 10 family and everyone is very happy with how he’s fitting into the lineup. The rumors that he jumped ship are just that: rumors,” the source added.

Speculation about Irwin’s possible departure began when members of a rival network hinted at interest in the conservationist for a new wildlife series.

‘His calm and impeccable skills on live television have taken the nation by storm. But her career at Ten will be short-lived and she will return to Seven,” a source told Woman’s Day this week.

The strategic deal is said to have been orchestrated by Robert’s mother, Terri Irwin, who has been hailed as the ultimate “mumager”.

“The Irwins are very smart when it comes to negotiations,” the source added.
