Sean’s extradition hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. After that, he is expected to return to Florida, where he will again be detained.

Janice was arrested Thursday during the raid of the rapper’s 14,000-square-foot rented mansion in Southwest Ranches.

Authorities seized a number of items from the property, including a giant LED television screen priced at $150,000.

The case is tied to Kingston’s purchase of the 17-by-9-foot TV in September 2023.

Attorney Dennis Card filed a lawsuit against the rapper in connection with the purchase of the $150,000 entertainment set that was present at Turner’s arrest.

Card claims Kingston purchased the television on credit with a low down payment because he promised the seller, Ver Ver Entertainment, which sells the televisions under the Colossal TV brand, that Justin Bieber would do commercials for them.

“(Justin Bieber) is not 100 percent in on this,” Card said. “He had the misfortune of working with Sean in the past, and Sean mentions his name like crazy.”

Robert Rosenblatt, a lawyer representing the rapper and his mother, said, “We are aware of some of the allegations” made against the two.

“We look forward to addressing these issues in court and are confident in a successful resolution for Shawn and his mother,” Rosenblatt said in an email.

Florida Department of Corrections records show Kingston is currently on two years’ probation for trafficking in stolen property. No further information could be found about that conviction.

According to federal court records, his mother pleaded guilty in 2006 to bank fraud for stealing more than $160,000 and served nearly a year and a half in prison. She was being held in the Broward jail Thursday night on $160,000 bail.
