Sean Hannity tore Seth Meyers apart, calling him a ‘hypocrite a ******’ after the Late Night presenter called him a ‘sociopath’, sparking a feud between the TV presenters.
‘You want to call me sociopathic, as you have mentioned many others, like Trump and Karl Rove. You use the word often, ”Hannity said on Thursday.
“But you’re just another limo, liberal socialist, hypocritical a ****** who does nothing but spew out anti-GOP hatred and has virtually nothing positive or productive to add to political dialogue.”
Meyers had attacked Hannity and other Republicans on his Wednesday night show, addressing the recent mass shootings in Colorado and Georgia.

During his recent mass shootings in Colorado and Georgia, Meyers had criticized Hannity and other Republicans for their views on gun control during his Wednesday night show.
“As we slowly get out of the grip of a deadly plague that has ravaged the country over the past year, the coronavirus, we are once again facing yet another deadly plague that has haunted this country for decades – the plague of gun violence,” Meyers said.
“In either case, there is a small minority of sociopaths with overpower in politics who stand in the way when the rest of us try to do something about it.”
Meyers said the Republicans, the gun lobby and Fox News were “making excuses for why they oppose wildly popular gun control measures.”
He condemned Hannity for “ briefly ” mentioning the Boulder shooting during his primetime show on Monday, before moving on to “ something far more important ” – the fall of President Joe Biden while boarding Air Force One.
Sean, no one is happier than me that after a president who metaphorically fell upstairs his entire life, we ended up with someone who somehow literally did it three times. But my god, get your priorities straight, ”said Meyers.
Meyers then went on to discuss the recent mass shootings, gun control laws and the Second Amendment.
“You repeat the same bulls ** t rule every time we go through this horrible ritual, which gun security defenders are somehow rushing to politicize it,” Meyers said.
Hannity responded Thursday, calling Meyers a ‘wild, far-left socialist Democrat sycophant’ and ‘the worst thing you could say about a comedian’.
First, Seth, why do you hate and disdain so much for Americans who just have different political beliefs than your liberal beliefs in Hollywood? And why do you always resort to calling those with whom you disagree with sociopaths? ‘
Hannity asked Meyers if he would deny “ law-abiding tax-paying hard-working Americans ” the right to self-defense before accusing him and celebrities he interviews of “ following a set of rules, ” while demanding that Republicans follow the other.
“How many of those Hollywood celebrities you interview, how many have armed guards taken to protect them?” Hannity said.
“You and the rest of your far-left friends, you want to defend the police.”
Hannity then accused Meyers of “no credibility, no integrity, no interest in what the truth is,” especially on complicated issues.
That’s why very few people watch your show. And you’re never funny, ‘said Hannity.
He then brought in two guests, Jason Chaffetz and Joe Concha, who denounced late night show presenters for “ not going back to what late-night hosts should be doing. ”
“The people who actually do comedy still do politics every night and it’s boring,” said Concha, columnist for The Hill news outlet.
“ Imagine you’re a college student in a dorm and you put on a little late night TV for a little post-class escapism, maybe you went out for a while and just laughed. ”
Concha then hit Meyers and The Late Show host Stephen Colbert, who previously hosted the political entertainment show The Colbert Report, for discussing how to get rid of the filibuster and their shows.
‘If I want to, I’m pretty sure I can go to other channels to hear about that sort of thing. It’s CSPAN for comedy, and guys like Seth Meyers have become utterly insufferable and predictable as a resort. Concha said.
Chaffetz praised older hosts such as Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, who ‘everyone chose a little bit’.
Hannity then urged liberals to attack him “as often as you want.”
Just be funny about it. Make it fun. Make it funny. Make us laugh. Because he’s kind of stupid. It’s not even like he has an intelligent argument on his side, ”he said.
