Sean “Diddy” Combs revealed that his baby daughter Love said “dada” for the first time in a video shared on his Instagram story Monday morning.
The 53-year-old rap mogul, who is currently enjoying a tropical getaway, appeared to be ecstatic about the words his youngest, seven-month-old spoke as he told his followers about her vocalization.
The entrepreneur, who attended the Met Gala with his on-off girlfriend, said he made a bet with Love’s mother, Dana Tran, over her first words, stating, “We had a bet! Would it be mom or dad first?’
Diddy went on to celebrate Love’s achievement by pumping his fists in another video shared on his story.
The rapper also shared a clip of his daughter playing with 28-year-old Tran, who began singing Barney’s theme song as her child poked her face.

Love kept calling her father during her playtime, much to the amusement of her mother.
The artist’s daughter, his seventh child in total, was born on October 15 in Newport Beach, California.
Diddy’s first child Justin, 29, was born in 1993, and he shares his eldest biological son with his former partner Misa Hylton.
He began a long-term on-again, off-again relationship with Kimberly Porter, and they welcomed their first child Christian, 25, in 1998 before giving birth to daughters D’Lila and Jessie, 16, in 2006.
The hitmaker also legally adopted Porter’s son, Quincy, 31, who she shared with Al B. Of course!
The rapper welcomed a daughter named Chance, 16, with Sarah Chapman in 2006.
Diddy eventually started seeing Tran, and TMZ confirmed in December last year that she was Love’s mother.
The artist announced that he had welcomed his seventh child into his life in a tweet shared that month.
