More than a dozen people are trapped in the Vortex attraction at Sea World.
A spokesperson for the Gold Coast theme park told Daily Mail Australia that “13 people” were trapped in the Vortex ride and that the incident was “still ongoing”.
“We are experiencing a disruption on one of our tours this afternoon,” the spokesperson said.
“We have communicated with all of them and they are well and in good spirits.”
The Vortex invites thrill-seekers to “spin, twist and turn like never before, flying in a spiral 15 metres above sea level.”
This ride reaches 30 kilometers per hour and rotates 360 degrees.
