Scottie Scheffler’s Masters triumph has brought another huge windfall for his caddy Ted Scott as the American continues his impressive season.
Scheffler took home the record £2.8 million prize by winning a second green jacket at the Masters on Sunday.
The world number one finished at 11 under par in the tournament at Augusta National, achieving a second victory in three years.
Scott has been on Scheffler’s bag since 2022, and the American has since achieved several notable tournament victories.

Scott was on Scheffler’s bag when the American won the Masters for the second time in three years.
The 50-year-old is expected to have received 10 per cent of the record £2.8million prize.
The 27-year-old won both the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship, in addition to his Masters triumph.
Scott is also expected to have made incredible profits as a result, with players customarily paying their caddies 10 percent of their prize money.
If Scheffler had followed custom, Scott would have earned £1.2 million this year.
Scott’s earnings would place the caddy among the top 50 golfers on the PGA Tour for prize money this season.
The caddy will have won considerable sums in previous seasons with Scheffler, who has topped the PGA Tour’s prize money list for the past two years.
He earned a record £11.2m in the 2021-22 season, a figure he already surpassed this year, before earning £16.8m on the 2022-23 tour.
Given that Scheffler had amassed £40 million over the past few seasons, Scott would have taken home approximately £4 million in prize money alone.
Scott is a 25-year veteran of the PGA Tour and previously caddied for former Masters champion Bubba Watson.
He reportedly initially needed some convincing before agreeing to caddy for Scheffler.
