Scottie Scheffler is on track to earn another $8 million as his remarkable 2024 season reaches even greater heights.

The world number one is set to win the Comcast Business Tour Top 10, which awards the highest-ranked golfers at the end of the FedExCup regular season.

Scheffler currently leads the standings ahead of Xander Schauffele, and the winner will walk away with $8 million, double last year’s top prize of $4 million, which was won by Jon Rahm.

The American recently added Olympic gold to his collection and this bonus will bring Scheffler’s earnings for the 2024 season to $36,148,691 in 2024.

Scheffler’s bank account will continue to grow as he still has the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship to play in. Both tournaments offer a maximum purse of $20 million.

Next comes the Tour Championship, which offers the $25 million FedEx Cup prize pool from a $100 million overall bonus pool.

Meanwhile, the Player Impact Program rewards those players who make the biggest commercial difference on the PGA Tour (through tickets and sponsorships, for example), with Rory McIlroy set to take home the $15 million top prize in 2023.

Scheffler has enjoyed remarkable dominance over his rivals in recent months. The world number one has racked up six wins and 14 top-10 finishes in just 16 PGA Tour events this season.

In April, he won the Masters during an incredible streak of four wins (and a second-place finish) in five tournaments.

Scheffler continued his excellent season with victory at the 2024 Olympics in Paris earlier this month. He has earned nearly twice as much as Schauffele, who sits second on the PGA Tour money list with $15,867,160.
