A mother has responded to trolls who called her “selfish” for having a daughter who was born without arms or legs.
Kiara Duprey, 24, and her husband Javier Floreniani, 21, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were told their baby’s limbs weren’t developing at the 12-week scan and thought “she’s beautiful no matter what.” let it happen.”
Eight-month-old Arianna can now hold a bottle and sit up on her own. She is now waiting to see when she will be able to have prosthetics.
“As long as she’s happy, I’m happy,” added Kiara, a housewife.
She revealed that the cruel comments left by strangers online were difficult to digest at first.

“At first it was difficult,” he revealed. ‘I was bullied and I have all my limbs.
“I’m trying to teach him that not everyone in this world is cruel.”
Kiara added that she believes many trolls have the misconception that her daughter is paralyzed, when “she can move.”
“She does everything a normal child does,” the mother added.
Kiara and Javier, the maintenance manager, were excited when they found out they were expecting in November 2022.
But a few months later, Kiara was told her baby had not developed limbs.
“They were trying to pressure me into having an abortion,” she explained. ‘Immediately they asked me if I wanted to say goodbye.
‘But God did this for a reason. This is how God decided to bring her to us. Just because she comes a little different doesn’t mean he should abort her.’

Doctors originally thought Arianna had Roberts syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by facial and limb abnormalities, and thought she probably wouldn’t make it to term.
But miraculously Arianna arrived via scheduled C-section on July 28, 2023, at 9:40 a.m., weighing exactly 5 pounds, and Kiara admitted the moment was both “exciting” and a “relief.”
Doctors originally thought Arianna had Roberts syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by facial and limb abnormalities, and thought she probably wouldn’t make it to term.
“They thought she would most likely die and be stillborn,” Kiara said.
But Arianna miraculously arrived via scheduled C-section on July 28, 2023, at 9:40 a.m., weighing exactly 5 pounds, and Kiara admitted the moment was both “exciting” and a “relief.”
She was diagnosed with transverse limb deficiency and remained in the hospital for a week, being monitored for a heart murmur, before returning home.
“Right now she’s trying to lift her head up when she’s lying down,” the mother gushed. ‘She is very well.
‘She is very determined. ‘When she drops the pacifier, she tries to put it back in her mouth.’
